STS is pleased to co-present the Heart Valve Disease Forum (HVDF) with the Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, offering the latest knowledge regarding the basics, diagnosis, treatment, and future of valvular heart disease. The conference theme is “Goldilocks: Toward the Optimal Mitral Valve,” and the organizers aim to bring together distinguished experts from around the world to share their knowledge and engage in academic discussions on the latest trends in treatments related to aortic valve disease.

Call for Abstracts
Submit abstracts for presentation consideration on topics pertaining to surgical or transcatheter treatment of mitral valve disease. Abstracts must be in English and limited to 300 more. The deadline is July 17. Read the guidelines and submit here.
Mentorship Program
The 2024 STS-Heart Valve Disease Forum Mentorship Program is an exclusive opportunity designed for early career attendees of the Valve Forum from Asia. Distinguished STS member surgeons will serve as mentors, providing invaluable guidance to young cardiac surgeons as they navigate their career paths. During the Valve Forum, mentees will have the opportunity to engage in one-to-one meetings with their mentors. Details coming soon!
