Celebrate International Cooperation

This special day has been planned to celebrate the partnership between The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery. Help us commemorate past, present, and future endeavors between these two organizations by taking part in two events...we begin with a relaxing mid-day yacht cruise through Fort Lauderdales famous intra-coastal waterway. It will be followed by an evening extravaganza that you wont want to miss!
The Lady Windridge Cruise
Time: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm Place: Radisson Bahia Mar Marina Cost: $55 per person
(price for both cruise and dinner $125)Bus transportation will be available to and from all hotels to the Bahia Mar Marina for the boat cruise.

Dr. Robert Cowen, Professor of Ichthyology at the University of Miamis renowned Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science, who will draw from his shipboard, submersible and SCUBA experiences to explain the incredible diversity of strategies that fish have adapted to survive life in the ocean, as well as techniques currently employed by oceanographers to solve some of our fishery problems. Dr. Cowen received his Ph.D. from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography.

Black Tie Extravaganza
