STS's travel coordinator, FLYING COLORS, has negotiated special discounts for travel to and from New Orleans between January 24-February 5, 2001.

American Airlines is offering a 5% discount below the lowest published airfare. A 10% discount will apply if you purchase your tickets no later than 60 days in advance of the travel date. If you cannot meet those restrictions, you can still take advantage of 15% off American's full unrestricted fares. You may also use American's zone fares with a 7-day advance purchase and only a 1-night minimum stay.
Delta Air Lines is offering a 5% discount below the lowest published airfare. If you cannot meet those restrictions, you can still take advantage of a 10% discount off Delta's full unrestricted fares. Save an additional 5% if you purchase your tickets no later than 60 days in advance of the travel date. You may also use Delta's zone fares with a 7-day advance purchase and only a 1-night minimum stay.
CAR RENTAL
Special discounted rates have been arranged with Avis Rent-a-Car, Inc. Ask your FLYING COLORS representative to reserve an Avis car when you make your airline reservation.
TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT
The airport is approximately 15 miles from the downtown area.
Taxi service is available from the airport to downtown hotels at an average cost of $28.00 for up to two people, $8.00 for each additional passenger.
Shuttle service is also available for $10.00 per person, and $20.00 per person round-trip. Shuttle service is located in the baggage claim area, and begins at 3:30am and runs throughout the day until the last flight has arrived. No reservations are needed.
