Don't Get Left Out in the Cold!

The 38th Annual Meeting of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons, the world's largest organization representing thoracic and cardiovascular surgeons, promises to offer an outstanding thoracic surgical educational program. In addition, an exceptional lineup of social events includes attendance at opening night of the smash Broadway hit "BLAST!" at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

The host city, Ft. Lauderdale, is widely considered one of the most popular cities in the United States in which to hold a medical conference-and with good reason! Ft. Lauderdale offers visitors a bounty of outdoor activities for taking advantage of the warmth and sun. Often called "the Venice of America," Ft. Lauderdale showcases its prime oceanfront location through a variety of boating and aquatic experiences. Even taxis are boats!
