Island Booth Approvals


Submission Deadline: Monday, December 29, 2014

All exhibitors with island booths (booths 20 x 20 and larger) are required to submit elevation and plan views, as well as the dimensions of hanging signs, banners, and/or trusses. Please submit your plan via e-mail to alaw [at] sts [dot] org or by fax at (312) 202-5803. Plans will be reviewed for general conformity based on the Exhibit Rules & Regulations. A few guidelines to note:

• Island spaces must be accessible from all four sides with an openness or transparency of sight lines allowing attendees    to view the surrounding exhibit area through the island booth.
• In an island space, a setback of 1 foot is required for any structure longer than 4 feet and higher than 4 feet.
• Island booth structures cannot exceed a height of 20 feet. The top of the island hanging signage may not exceed 24 feet off the floor and must allow for 19 feet from the floor to the bottom of the hanging sign. Signage is to be set back 2 feet from the edge of the assigned booth space and must not block or obstruct sight lines of other booths.

IMPORTANT: STS approval of your booth design does not ensure fire marshal approval at the San Diego Convention Center.

Animal Tissue Requests


Submission Deadline: Monday, December 29, 2014
Requests for the use of animal tissue for demonstration purposes on the show floor must be submitted in writing. Please send an e-mail outlining the types of tissue and preservation methods that will be utilized during the Exhibition to alaw [at] sts [dot] org. For more information, please refer to Rule 10 in the Exhibit Rules & Regulations. All animal tissue must be disposed of by the official show contractor.

Exhibitor Staff Meeting Space Application


Submission Deadline: Friday, December 12, 2014
Exhibiting companies can request space to be used for staff meetings. All staff functions will be held at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina and the Manchester Grant Hyatt San Diego. Please note that staff functions cannot be scheduled during official show hours and no physician attendees should be present at these meetings. Click here for the application.

Mailing List License Requests


Submission Deadline: Friday, January 2, 2015
The STS Annual Meeting registration list is available for licensing by 2015 STS Annual Meeting exhibitors and sponsors to send STS-approved mailers. Click here for information on how to submit a request.
