The Society of Thoracic Surgeons is committed to providing quality services that meet the needs of exhibitors. STS is, therefore, continually seeking advice and guidance from industry professionals. To create an environment conducive to genuine consultation and responsiveness, the Society is introducing an Exhibitor Advisory Committee (EAC).
The purpose of this Committee is to provide STS with input and feedback as further develops exhibit-focused procedures and services, delves into industry issues, and tries to better understand the challenges faced by today’s industry professionals.

Senior Manager, Global Congress & Events
Michelle is the Senior Manager of all Global Congresses and Events for the Heart Valve Therapy Division at Edwards Lifesciences. She has more than 10 years of experience in marketing exhibit management, as well as 20 years in marketing event management. She has previously worked with companies such as Disney’s Parks and Resorts, the Angels Major League Baseball team, United Healthcare, and South Coast Plaza. Sales Operations Manager
Scanlan International, Inc.
Jennifer has been with Scanlan International for more than 20 years. She manages the Sales Operations team, which supports Scanlan’s worldwide distribution network, field sales, and sales initiatives. Principal Convention Specialist
Christine has more than 10 years of tradeshow experience and currently manages tradeshow planning and execution for the cardiovascular and diabetes business units at Medtronic. She transitioned into exhibit marketing after 3 years in pharmaceutical sales. Christine holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. Kay has more than 10 years of event management experience, including more than 5 years in the medical device industry. She has also worked in the technology, sports, and entertainment industries. In 2013, she received her Certified Trade Show Marketer designation from Northern Illinois University. Kay holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from San Jose State University.
