The STS Data Warehouse is preparing for the STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database 2015 Harvest 4. Here are the dates and important information you will need for submitting data.

Please note: If you have changed software vendors since you last harvested data to the STS Data Warehouse, or if your 10-digit Hospital NPI number or Hospital Name has changed, you need to contact Gerard Tarafa (312-202-5858, gtarafa [at] sts [dot] org) at the STS Headquarters immediately.

2015 Adult Cardiac Surgery Database Harvest Schedule

2015 Harvest 4 Schedule:

  • November 2, 2015 - First day to submit data file.
  • November 20, 2015 - Data submissions end at 12 midnight Eastern time. (No data files will be processed after this date).
  • November 30, 2015 -  Final sign-off paperwork due by 5 PM Eastern time.
  • End of January 2065 - National Report posted online.

Please note: The data capture window for 2015 Harvest 4: October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 is required.

Important information regarding your Data Quality Report

Duke is now using a secured email feature to send out your Data Quality Reports. Please find detailed instructions how to receive them here.

Please note: All data from October 1, 2014 to September 30, 2015 must be in v2.81 format of the data speficiations.

All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2014 to September 30, 2014  must be in v2.81 format of the data specifications.

All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2014 must be in v2.73 format of the data specifications.

Data records back to January 1, 2000, can be submitted without additional requirements. Requests to submit data prior to January 1, 2000, requires special permission.
