STS Scholarship for Aspiring Cardiothoracic Surgeons

The Looking to the Future Scholarship is designed for general surgery residents within the United States and Canada; it seeks to identify and encourage general surgery residents who are considering but are not yet committed to a career in cardiothoracic surgery. Scholarships cover registration fees for the STS Annual Meeting, up to four nights at an STS-designated hotel, and reimbursement of up to $500 in related travel expenses. Scholarship awardees will also have the opportunity to participate in STS/AATS Tech-Con at no cost. In addition, special events will be available for scholarship recipients throughout the Annual Meeting.
