Adult Cardiac Surgery Database

The STS Data Warehouse is preparing for the STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database 2008 Harvest 4 (see below for important dates and information). 

Please note: If you have changed software vendors since you last harvested data to the STS Data Warehouse, you MUST contact Gerard Tarafa (312-202-5833, gtarafa@sts.org) at STS Headquarters immediately. Click here for an updated Future Harvest Schedule.

November 10, 2008 Harvest begins (first day to submit data file).	December 1, 2008 Harvest ends.  Data submission ends at 12 midnight Eastern time.   (no data files will be processed after this date).  Please note this is an extension of the previously published schedule.
December 5, 2008 Analysis Sign-off Form and Hospital Name Clarification Report due by 5 PM Eastern time.	Mid-January 2009 National Report distribution

Please note:

• All data with a procedure date from January 1, 2008 through June 30, 2008, must be in v2.61 format of the data specifications.
• All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 may be in either version v2.52.1 or v2.61 format of the data specifications.
• All data with a procedure date from January 1, 2005 through June 30, 2007 must be in version v2.52.1 format of the data specifications.
• All data with a procedure date from January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004 must be in either version v2.41 and/or v2.52.1 format of the data specifications.
• All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003 must be in version v2.41 format of the data specifications.
  
• The data capture window is October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. Data records back to January 1, 2000, can be submitted without additional requirements. Requests to submit data prior to January 1, 2000, requires special permission. Please contact your Clinical Data Specialist for instructions.
