The STS Data Warehouse is preparing for the STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database 2013 Harvest 2 (see below for important dates and information). 

Please note:

If you have changed software vendors since you last harvested data to the STS Data Warehouse, please contact Gerry Tarafa, gtarafa@sts.org, at STS Headquarters immediately.

2013 Adult Cardiac Surgery Database Harvest Schedule

2013 Harvest 2 Schedule:

 

  • May 6, 2013 Harvest begins (first day to submit data file). The data capture window is April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013.
  • May 24, 2013 Harvest ends. Data submission ends at 12 midnight Eastern time. (Last date to submit data file.  No data files will be processed after this date).
  • May 31, 2013 Analysis Sign-off Form and Hospital Name Clarification Report due by 5 PM Eastern time.
  • End of July 2013 Adult Cardiac Surgery Database National Report posted online at: https://stsoutcomes.dcri.duke.edu/registry/


Submit your data via the secured website.  The Harvest Verification Form documentation is included as part of this process.

Please note:

The data capture window for 2013 Harvest 2: April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013 is required.
  
 All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2011 to present, must be in v2.73 format of the data specifications.

 All data with a procedure date from January 1, 2008 through June 30, 2011, must be in v2.61 format of the data specifications.

 All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 may be in either version v2.52.1 or v2.61 format of the data specifications.

 All data with a procedure date from January 1, 2005 through June 30, 2007 must be in version v2.52.1 format of the data specifications.

 All data with a procedure date from January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004 must be in either version v2.41 and/or v2.52.1 format of the data specifications.

 All data with a procedure date from July 1, 2002 through December 31, 2003 must be in version v2.41 format of the data specifications.

 Data records back to January 1, 2000, can be submitted without additional requirements. Requests to submit data prior to January 1, 2000, requires special permission. Please contact your Clinical Data Specialist CDS) at DCRI for instructions. To identify your CDS, please refer to the CDS map located at:  Contact Us.
