The goal of the 3-day virtual event was to enhance your knowledge and expertise in cardiovascular and thoracic (CVT) critical care and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS). Delivered through an online platform, the event included interactive live sessions at scheduled times and recorded programs that you could watch at your convenience. New for 2020, an entire day of sessions was dedicated to COVID-19 and disaster management. The sessions gave participants the chance to learn from and contribute to the experiences of leading centers in optimizing preoperative and postoperative care to improve outcomes. Attendees had the chance to earn physician, perfusion and nursing credit. Each day of the 2020 meeting is dedicated to a single topic:

  • Thursday, September 24 – Enhanced Recovery After Surgery
  • Friday, September 25 – COVID-19/Disaster Management
  • Saturday, September 26 – Hot Topics in CVT Critical Care
