STS offers a variety of high-quality, timely, and relevant opportunities for online learning. These include webinars, videos, e-learning modules, and the Thoracic Surgical Curriculum. Some of these opportunities are available for free; others require purchase. STS members receive discounts on education offered for purchase. The following are the most recent offerings:

STS Leadership Series: Building Leaders for Today & Tomorrow

A new STS members only series will focus on helping residents and early career cardiothoracic surgeons build and hone their leadership skills. The complimentary series includes three 60-minute webinars during 2021 and a capstone, in-person event adjacent to STS 2022 in Miami, Florida. Learn more.

The Society’s new 8 in 8 Series offers quick access to important topics in cardiothoracic surgery. Each informative video is narrated by an expert in the field and covers one topic using eight slides in 8 minutes.
