The Annals of Thoracic Surgery App
Read The Annals of Thoracic Surgery anywhere, anytime through The Annals app, available for Apple and Android devices. ASCERT Long-Term Survival Probability Calculator for Isolated CABG
This app allows a user to calculate survival probability following isolated coronary artery bypass grafting surgery in patients 65 years and older. The calculator incorporates a risk model derived from linking STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database data (version 2.52) to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services MEDPAR data as part of the STS-ACC ASCERT grant. In addition to apps for iOS and Android devices, the risk calculator is available on the web.
STS/ACC TAVR Risk Calculator App
Get assistance in identifying which patients may be good candidates for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures. The STS/ACC TAVR In-Hospital Mortality Risk App assists with determining the predicted in-hospital mortality risk. Once determined, a patient's mortality risk can then be compared to the national average based on STS/ACC TVT Registry™ data.
