Real-world contemporary data from the STS Adult Cardiac Surgery Database demonstrate increased overall volumes compared to prior years, and improved outcomes for both isolated tricuspid repair and replacement.
STS leveraged these data to develop a mobile-friendly Isolated Tricuspid Valve Surgery Risk Calculator. This tool provides the most objective data possible to guide physician and patient shared decision-making and ongoing landmark trials comparing transcatheter and surgical treatments.
