By registering, you are confirming you will be available on October 17–18 in Washington, DC for the entirety of the conference, including the full day of meetings on October 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET.

Costs associated with official activities taking place during the Advocacy Conference are covered by STS. Costs related to travel, lodging, and other meals are the responsibility of each participant. A limited number of scholarships are available to reimburse other costs associated with this event.

After you register, STS will begin scheduling meetings with each of your congressional offices. Meetings may be with your elected official or their policy staff. Meetings with legislators will be prioritized, but this is not always possible and is dependent on the lawmaker’s availability. Meetings with congressional staff are extremely valuable and will not diminish the impact of your advocacy efforts. No experience? No problem! We will ensure every advocate is paired with an experienced partner who is able to assist. There will also be ample training opportunities prior to the day of meetings.
