The 2024 STS Coronary Conference is an innovative international event taking place June 7-8, 2024, in Miami, Florida. This year’s meeting will be focused on the technical aspects of coronary surgery, from anastomotic techniques to the latest, advanced minimally invasive procedures.

Abstracts, surgical videos, and case presentations are being accepted. Submit your work for consideration and the opportunity to present alongside experts from around the globe at this extraordinary event. Submissions are due by Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Learn More.

This two-day program will include interactive “How I Do It” video presentations featuring surgical techniques, practical tips and tricks, as well as case-based panel discussions and abstract sessions. 

Session topics include: conduit selection and harvest, graft configuration, off- and on-pump CABG, and a stepwise approach to minimally invasive coronary surgery, from MIDCAB to advanced multivessel revascularization.

Travel Scholarships

Scholarships to the STS Coronary Conference are available through The Thoracic Surgery Foundation, the charitable arm of STS. The scholarships are open to senior level or chief CT surgery residents enrolled in an ACGME-approved program in the US or Canada. The scholarship covers course registration fees, two nights lodging, and a stipend to cover travel and meal costs. The application is now open and will close on March 1, 2024. Awardees will be notified by March 8, 2024. Regret letters will be sent March 14. The scholarship application can be accessed here.

Hotel Arrangements

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The special STS group rate is $285 (plus state and local taxes + daily resort fees) and is guaranteed through Friday, May 17, or until the group block is sold out. Guest rooms reserved after the cutoff date or when the room block is sold out are subject to hotel availability.
