The program directors have chosen an ambitious theme of "The Taming of the Aortic Valves," inspired by Shakespeare's classic The Taming of the Shrew. This year, session topics will explore academic and systematic considerations on the basics of the aortic valve to the latest trends, various surgical methods, and treatments employing experts from various fields. Trainees, residents, and practicing physicians will train on surgical techniques via wet labs, and hear the latest on TAVI, innovative SAVR, and endocarditis.
