This webinar will explore how circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and minimal residual disease (MRD) can inform care across perioperative lung cancer care. Faculty will discuss practical approaches to ctDNA sampling before and after surgery, including its integration with imaging, and examine how MRD findings may guide conversations about treatment escalation, de-escalation, and clinical trial referral.

During this webinar, members of the STS Task Force on Robotic Cardiac Surgery will describe surgical techniques and strategies for the management of complex robotic mitral valve disease, including mitral annular calcification (MAC), systolic anterior motion (SAM), and bileaflet Barlow’s disease. Attendees will leave with a clearer framework for approaching these challenging pathologies and for expanding the range of mitral cases they can confidently treat with a robotic platform.
