STS is pleased to announce the release of new surgeon-level reports for STS National Database participating surgeons.
The reports will include the following surgeon NPI-level case volumes:
- Adult Cardiac Surgery Database: Procedures by STS procedure subgroups and year
- General Thoracic Surgery Database: Procedures by type and year
- Congenital Heart Surgery Database: Benchmark operations by year, operations by STAT category and year, operations by type and year
Reports will be generated following the completion of the data analysis for each Database harvest, and included data are limited to surgery dates beginning January 1, 2008, as surgeon NPI was not collected in the Database before this date. The first reports will include cases through June 30, 2023.
To receive your surgeon-level report, submit an election form to STS. Once your form is processed, the STS team will share your PDF report via email. Surgeons who participate in multiple registry components will receive separate reports for each Database component. If you have questions, please contact surgeonspecific@sts.org.
