This Latin Heart Rounds collaboration between the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) will feature an international panel of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from Latin America, Europe, and the United States speaking about the current management of syndromic aortic disease. The panel will discuss:
- Current genetics and medical management of patients with Marfan and other syndromes associated with aortic disease, as well as current guidelines
- Open and endovascular surgical options for this disease, including aortic root valve-sparing surgery and valved grafts
The webinar and discussion will be held in Spanish with simultaneous captions and slides in English.
