Description
Your voice is more important than ever. Make plans to attend the 2027 STS Advocacy Conference. During this two-day event, held March 8-9, 2027, STS members will meet with members of Congress and their staff to help influence healthcare policy and champion causes important to CT surgeons and their patients. Attendees will receive training for their meetings and opportunities to engage with STS leadership.
Scholarships will be available for senior cardiothoracic surgery residents and early career surgeon attendees.
Attendance and scholarships are available only to STS members who reside in the United States.
Scholarships
STS offers a limited number of scholarships for CT surgery residents and early career surgeons to attend the 2027 STS Advocacy Conference on March 8-9. Scholarships will cover reasonable travel, hotel, and meal expenses (2 days/1 night).
To apply, complete the form and upload a current copy of your CV by Dec. 31, 2026. Award decisions will be communicated in January 2027.

12:30 p.m. ET: Lunch for all attendees
2:30 – 5 p.m. ET: Training for all attendees

8 – 9 a.m. ET: Breakfast
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET: Legislator Meetings (lunch and snacks will be available all day)
