This upcoming webinar Latin Heart Rounds collaboration between the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) is part of The Combined Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) Heart Surgery Symposium.
The webinar will be livestreamed from the symposium and will feature an international panel of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from Latin America, Europe, and the United States speaking about the current management of syndromic aortic disease. The panel will discuss:
- Current genetics and medical management of patients with Marfan and other syndromes associated with aortic disease, as well as current guidelines
- Open and endovascular surgical options for this disease, including aortic root valve-sparing surgery and valved grafts
