Membership Dues Waiver Requests
US Active Duty Service Members are eligible to request a refund or waiver of their annual membership dues, starting with the 2024 dues membership year. Requests must be made by December 31 of the dues year (for example, 2024 dues refund or waiver requests must be received by December 31, 2024). Current members must be in good standing. Members who have already paid current year’s dues will receive a refund upon approval of their dues waiver request. Dues will be waived for members whose current year’s dues have not been paid upon approval of their dues waiver request. New member applicants must pay dues and initiation fee in full and will receive a refund once their membership and dues waiver are approved. The waiver process and refunds may take up to eight weeks upon receipt of a completed form. If you have any questions, please contact membership@sts.org

Meeting Registration Waiver Requests
US Active Duty Service Members are eligible to request a refund or waiver of their meeting registration, starting with the 2024 STS Annual Meeting. Current members must be in good standing. This waiver is only applicable to STS meeting registration fees. Requests must be submitted by the last date of the meeting for which you are requesting a waiver or refund for.
