Summary

In this episode of the STS Webinar Series, a panel comprising residents and surgeons demonstrate a novel approach to Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) rounds. Two case scenarios demonstrate a resident-led, structured, and multidisciplinary approach to phase-of-care analysis of CT surgery patients. The expert panel discusses how a QIPS program could be used to launch targeted, institution-specific quality improvement initiatives.
